diviner [zero]/ 2025/ silkscreen on coldpressed paper, each edition of 2 (70x100 cm), dart arrows (steel, aluminum/ a diviner is someone who predicts the future in making various forms of ‘readings’ in signs, numbers, or by mediating with God. As a first part of this new series of works, Diviner [zero] depart from images of a smudged price label with a zero and a dot, rendered through a binairy converter. A process which creates an output of black and white pixels, rather than the ‘bitmap’ normally used in silk screen techniques. Taking into account this binary, the work(s) elaborate on levels of control, coding, polarisation, as well as chance.
